Hi, I’m Pamela
My interest in health and wellness blossomed in my twenties when I began a quest to absorb all of the nutrition information I could get my hands on. I had just graduated college where I ate fairly well, but still had some of that Freshmen 15 creep up on me. My resultant health quest soon led me to learn about the meat industry and how animals we consider “food” are treated in the system of mechanized slaughter that we in the West call “agribusiness.” I became vegetarian from that research, but that wasn’t the end of my journey. Years after going vegetarian I started learning about other aspects of animal agriculture as well as the health implications of eating animal foods, and quickly realized that being vegetarian wasn’t enough. It was then that I made one of the best decisions of my life–going vegan.
Our lives are only as good as our health. I founded The Bitchin’ Vegan plant-based coaching to help my clients create their own path forward as they make the transition to plant-based eating. My goal is to enable the betterment of my clients’ health, the health of animals, and of our planet.
